Brooklyn Roof Pros was founded in 2013 by Marcus Rivera, a third-generation roofer who grew up in Bay Ridge watching his grandfather and father work on the same rowhouses, brownstones, and flat-roofed walk-ups that define our borough. He saw firsthand how homeowners were routinely taken advantage of — overcharged, under-delivered, and left with work that failed within a few seasons.
Marcus started Brooklyn Roof Pros with a simple commitment: treat every customer like a neighbor, because in Brooklyn, they usually are. That meant transparent pricing, honest assessments, quality materials, and standing behind every single job with a real warranty.
Over a decade later, that commitment hasn't changed. We've grown to a crew of 18 full-time roofing professionals, completed over 500 projects across every Brooklyn neighborhood, and earned a 4.9-star reputation that we protect on every single job.
